Atlas Genius "When It Was Now" Album Review
3.5Overall Score

Australian Indie rockers Atlas Genius puts forth a solid effort with their album When It Was Now.  The first single from the album “Trojans” hits us with a very catchy riff and catchy repeating chorus. These two elements are part of formula that is used in many of the songs on the album. The track “If So” has a very two door cinema club feel while other songs like “Electric” could remind you of the Men Without Hats. The album is enriched with sparkly toned guitars and 80’s style pop pads.  When It Was Now is dead in the middle of chill and groove. This is sure to be a fan favorite of the indie genre and those being introduced to it.
