Robin Williams was known for his comedy and acting. However, he did include music in a lot of his work. Like many others, I am very saddened by his passing. Robin Williams was a part of my whole childhood. I was looking forward to seeing some of his “grumpy old man” roles in the future. But there is no longer a future. We only have memeories and film to remember him by. He was a legend. He will never be forgotten. If only he understood how much the whole world loved him.

Here are some of my favorite musical Robin Williams moments:

“Friend Like Me” from Aladdin (1992)

“Fun With Dinosaurs” from Mrs. Doubtfire (1993)

“Blame Canada” at the Academy Awards (2000)

“My Way (A Mi Manera)” from Happy Feet (2006)

Ivan “Bob” Poppanoff the “Russian Idol” on American Idol (2008)

And I’m just throwing in one of my favorite scenes from Dead Poets Society just because! 🙂
