ribbit.TV would like to first say happy belated birthday to Nicki and does it feel any different to be 18 than 17?
Ever since I turned 18 my eyes have finally opened. I see the rainbows, the unicorns, and the airborne sea turtles. I even got to ride one for the first time on my birthday. It was truly special.

The band is based in Los Angeles, CA. Do you find it to be more competitive in L.A. since it is such a big music city or do you think you have more opportunity out there?
LA is a hard place to make it since there are so many bands out there. It’s really hard to get people to come out to shows. Our best shows have been in the smallest of towns really.

When you guys released The Monster EP you gave it away for free. A lot of artists are doing that now and getting a lot of exposure and gaining fans. What was the reasoning for you guys doing it?
The Monster EP was given away for free because it was made basically free. We recorded it in a bedroom. We plan to rerecord most of the songs in a real studio in the near future for our record.

How does your most recent EP, Because We Can, differ from your other EP’s and songs?
Well Because We Can is just a few covers we did… because we could.

You guys, and gal, are competing for Warped Tour! What would it mean to you if you got a chance to play?
All the guys in the band have actually all been on tour with other bands before. I unfortunately never have had the experience before. It’s always been a dream of mine to share our music with people up close and in person. So being able to play Warped Tour would be super exciting for me especially.

Does the band have any big influences?
We all have really different backgrounds and influences, but I think we can all agree upon Muse, Van Halen, Killswitch Engage, Tool, ect..

Any new shows or tours coming up that you guys are stoked about?
Not really. We’re actually in the process of writing new music right now and plan to have a new single out in about a month. Look out for it! 😀
