How are the dynamics different of doing online StageIt shows rather than more traditional live concerts?
Besides the obvious difference of playing in front of a webcam instead of a crowd of people, there is a pretty large discrepancy. Its a whole different vibe, but I’ve come to really enjoy doing them. The coolest part about it is that I can play for people ALL OVER the world at the same time.

What is the transition from unsigned, independent artist to working with Equal Vision Records looking like?
So far, so good! I’m currently in the final stages of recording my record that will come out later this year with EVR. I’ve always been a huge fan of Equal Vision and their bands so this is a really great partnership.

When can fans expect the new record to be coming out?
Late summer, early fall.

What kind of new influences can we expect on this album?
Influences are all over the place. Its a very diverse record that in my eyes stands on its own. It is definitely my best work yet.

Will any of the songs from the various EPs be making appearances on the record?
All the songs are brand new, written for the full length.

After touring nonstop for the better part of this year, have you noticed a difference between touring as part of a band as opposed to your current situation?
Touring on my own with a very small crew has been surprisingly nice. Touring with a band is great for camaraderie but can also get to be too stressful and annoying. The funny thing is that since going solo and touring this way, I’ve made more friends than I did in 8 years touring with a band.

What kind of shift or carry over in your fan base have you noticed in your transition to your solo project?
I’ve noticed a lot of people have come along and kept up with the new music, but I’ve also noticed an up kick in brand new faces; new fans that are just hearing about me now and weren’t that into TAI. I welcome everyone and anyone!
